We are seeking a technically strong Fintech Infrastructure Specialist to support the cloud, platform, deployment, reliability, and operational infrastructure behind modern financial technology systems.

This opportunity is suited to an infrastructure professional who understands that financial platforms require exceptional levels of availability, security, observability, and operational discipline.

The Role

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, security specialists, and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure capable of supporting critical financial workloads.

Your responsibilities will span cloud infrastructure, containerisation, deployment automation, monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Support production environments for fintech applications and financial services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Improve infrastructure availability, resilience, and performance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Support infrastructure security and access-management controls.
• Automate repetitive operational and infrastructure processes.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Develop disaster-recovery and business-continuity capabilities.
• Monitor infrastructure capacity, performance, and resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment and operational readiness.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture and technology standards.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.

Technical Environment

Experience with several of the following is valuable:

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools
• Linux
• GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms
• PostgreSQL and other database technologies
• Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or comparable observability tools
• Networking and security fundamentals
• Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting languages

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or cloud-engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience automating infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Strong security awareness.
• Excellent troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
• Experience supporting high-volume or business-critical applications.
• Fintech, banking, payments, or other regulated-industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering and business teams.
