Position Overview

We are seeking a Fintech Financial Modelling Analyst to support financial planning, business forecasting, and performance analysis across digital financial products. The successful candidate will develop financial models, assess revenue and cost drivers, and provide insights that help the business evaluate product performance, pricing decisions, and growth opportunities.

This position is suited to an analytical professional who understands financial statements, modelling techniques, and the economics of technology-enabled financial services. You will work with finance, product, and data teams to translate complex financial information into practical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue projections, operating costs, cash flow, and profitability.

• Analyse transaction volumes, customer acquisition costs, payment fees, customer retention, and other key financial indicators.

• Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses to support business planning.

• Evaluate the financial implications of new products, service enhancements, and proposed pricing structures.

• Compare actual financial results against forecasts and investigate material variances.

• Develop dashboards and reports that communicate financial performance to relevant stakeholders.

• Validate financial assumptions and maintain clear documentation of model inputs and calculations.

• Collaborate with data teams to improve the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting.

• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, revenue performance, and financial planning processes.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in financial modelling, commercial analysis, management reporting, or financial planning.

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial modelling techniques.

• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python is an advantage.

• Understanding of fintech revenue models, transaction-based pricing, payment economics, or digital financial products is beneficial.

• Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to communicate financial findings clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Professional proficiency in English; Estonian language skills are an advantage.
