Role Summary

The Fintech Enterprise Integration Specialist will support the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integrations between internal business applications and external financial service platforms. The role involves coordinating integration requirements, validating data exchanges, investigating interface failures, and working with engineering teams to maintain reliable system connectivity.

The successful candidate will understand how enterprise applications communicate and how integration issues can affect financial operations. This position requires practical technical knowledge, strong documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate implementation activities across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support integrations between financial platforms, enterprise applications, banking systems, and third-party service providers.

• Gather and document technical and business requirements for new integration initiatives.

• Coordinate integration activities with software developers, solution architects, product teams, and external technology partners.

• Review API specifications, data formats, authentication requirements, and system interface documentation.

• Assist with the configuration and validation of REST APIs, webhooks, and other integration mechanisms.

• Conduct integration testing to verify data accuracy, connectivity, and expected system behavior.

• Investigate interface errors, failed data exchanges, and synchronization problems.

• Support the implementation of integration updates and system changes.

• Maintain integration documentation, technical records, and operational procedures.

• Monitor integration performance and coordinate the resolution of recurring technical issues.

• Identify opportunities to improve integration reliability, automation, and data consistency.

• Support technical handovers and ensure that completed integrations are properly documented.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional experience in enterprise application integration, systems implementation, technical operations, or API integration.

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, webhooks, and common data exchange methods.

• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms and secure application connectivity.

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and integration specifications.

• Experience with SQL, API testing tools, or integration platforms is beneficial.

• Understanding of enterprise systems and financial technology applications.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to coordinate technical activities with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

• Experience with banking, payment processing, or fintech integrations is an advantage.
