The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fintech Compliance Strategist to help shape regulatory governance across a technology-driven financial-services environment. The role sits at the intersection of fintech innovation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and business strategy.

You will work with product, legal, risk, operations, and technology teams to ensure that new financial products and services are developed within appropriate regulatory and operational frameworks while maintaining a strong focus on customer protection and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance strategies for fintech products and business operations.
• Assess regulatory requirements affecting payments, digital financial services, electronic money, and technology-enabled finance.
• Translate regulatory obligations into practical policies, controls, and operational procedures.
• Support product teams during the design and launch of new financial products.
• Conduct compliance assessments and identify regulatory gaps or emerging risks.
• Work closely with legal, risk, AML, KYC, and information-security specialists.
• Monitor regulatory developments and evaluate their potential business impact.
• Strengthen compliance monitoring, reporting, documentation, and governance processes.
• Contribute to regulatory examinations, internal audits, and management reporting.
• Promote a strong culture of compliance throughout the organisation.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in fintech compliance, financial services, banking, regulatory advisory, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of European financial-services regulation and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working with fintech products, payments, digital banking, or financial technology platforms.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of risk-based compliance methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to technical and commercial teams.
• Strong professional judgement, integrity, and attention to detail.
