Role Summary

The Digital Asset Custody Operations Specialist will support the daily operational activities associated with the secure administration and monitoring of digital assets held within custody environments.

The role focuses on transaction coordination, custody record maintenance, asset reconciliation, operational verification and the investigation of discrepancies across digital asset platforms. The successful candidate will work with security, compliance, technology and financial operations teams to maintain accurate custody records and support dependable digital asset services.

This is an operational specialist position rather than a trading or investment management role.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine operational activities relating to digital asset custody and account administration.

• Monitor incoming and outgoing digital asset transactions through approved custody platforms.

• Support transaction verification and authorisation procedures in accordance with established internal controls.

• Maintain accurate records of digital asset holdings, transfers and custody-related activities.

• Perform regular reconciliations between internal custody records and relevant blockchain or platform records.

• Investigate discrepancies involving transaction balances, wallet records and asset movements.

• Support wallet administration processes and approved custody configuration procedures.

• Coordinate with technical teams when transaction delays, network issues or platform irregularities occur.

• Assist with the preparation of operational reports covering custody activities and transaction status.

• Maintain documentation relating to custody procedures, transaction verification and operational incidents.

• Support internal reviews of custody controls and digital asset operational processes.

• Monitor changes affecting supported blockchain networks and communicate relevant operational implications.

• Assist with the testing of custody platform updates and new digital asset support features.

• Work with compliance specialists to ensure that operational procedures follow applicable internal and regulatory requirements.

• Identify opportunities to improve custody workflows, record accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.

• Previous experience in financial operations, digital assets, cryptocurrency infrastructure or financial services administration.

• Understanding of blockchain transactions, digital wallets and digital asset custody concepts.

• Familiarity with transaction verification, asset reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.

• Knowledge of blockchain explorers, custody platforms or digital asset monitoring tools is advantageous.

• Understanding of operational risk, access controls and secure transaction procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial records responsibly.

• Good analytical and investigative skills.

• Ability to prepare accurate operational reports and maintain detailed documentation.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while following established operational procedures.
