Role Overview

An international digital-asset technology environment is seeking a Crypto Wallet Security Manager to lead the security function responsible for cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure, transaction controls, key-management processes, and digital-asset protection.

This role combines cybersecurity leadership with specialist blockchain knowledge and requires an individual capable of establishing rigorous security practices across wallet systems and supporting infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead security operations covering cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure and related services.
• Establish security standards for wallet access, authentication, transaction authorization, and privileged operations.
• Oversee controls surrounding cryptographic keys, secrets, and sensitive wallet infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments of wallet applications, APIs, and blockchain integrations.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews.
• Develop and maintain incident-response procedures for digital-asset security events.
• Monitor security events and investigate suspicious wallet or transaction activity.
• Work closely with engineering teams to implement secure wallet architecture.
• Review security implications of new blockchain networks, assets, integrations, and wallet features.
• Establish security metrics and prepare risk reports for senior leadership.
• Lead and develop security specialists working across digital-asset infrastructure.
• Support compliance assessments, audits, and security-control reviews.

Experience & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, financial technology, or digital assets.
• Previous experience leading a security team or security function.
• Strong practical understanding of cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cryptographic key management, HSMs, secrets management, and secure authentication.
• Experience with cloud security, API security, application security, and infrastructure protection.
• Understanding of blockchain transaction mechanisms and common digital-asset security risks.
• Experience developing security policies, controls, incident-response procedures, and risk frameworks.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication capabilities.
