Role Summary

The Business Analyst will act as a link between business stakeholders and product development teams, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and ready for implementation. The successful candidate will help turn business objectives into structured requirements, support delivery planning, and validate whether new features meet agreed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, and product improvement opportunities.

• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA specialists throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Analyse current product capabilities and identify functional gaps or opportunities for enhancement.

• Facilitate requirements workshops and maintain a prioritised backlog of business needs.

• Review proposed solutions to ensure alignment with operational requirements and customer expectations.

• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and clarification of requirements during development.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing and document defects or requirement gaps.

• Review product performance data and user feedback to inform future improvements.

• Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements, delivered features, and acceptance outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience as a Business Analyst in digital products, software development, or technology-enabled services.

• Practical knowledge of user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements management.

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery environments.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project documentation platforms.

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex requirements clearly.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Professional proficiency in English; experience with fintech or other regulated digital products is an advantage.
