We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Protocol Engineer to design, implement, and optimize distributed systems supporting scalable blockchain networks and sophisticated digital-asset applications.

The Opportunity

This role is suited to an engineer with deep expertise in consensus mechanisms, peer-to-peer networking, execution environments, and blockchain architecture. You will work on complex technical challenges where performance, reliability, and security are central to the design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize blockchain protocol components, including execution, consensus, and networking layers.

• Design distributed systems capable of supporting high transaction throughput and resilient operations.

• Implement protocol improvements, node services, and blockchain infrastructure.

• Research scalability solutions, interoperability frameworks, and emerging consensus technologies.

• Contribute to cryptographic and protocol-level security reviews.

• Build comprehensive testing frameworks for blockchain components.

• Investigate performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.

• Collaborate with software engineers, security specialists, and technical leadership.

• Produce detailed technical documentation and contribute to protocol development standards.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, or blockchain development.

• Strong programming skills in Rust, Go, C++, or comparable systems languages.

• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus, and peer-to-peer networking.

• Experience with Ethereum, Layer 1, Layer 2, or other distributed-ledger technologies.

• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and concurrent systems.

• Familiarity with cryptographic primitives and protocol security.

• Experience contributing to open-source or production-grade blockchain projects is advantageous.
