Role Overview

We are looking for a technically accomplished Blockchain Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of distributed technology solutions supporting modern financial applications.

The successful candidate will work with engineering and product teams to develop secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain-based systems. This position requires strong software-engineering expertise combined with an understanding of distributed systems, cryptographic principles, smart contracts, and decentralised technology architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop blockchain-based applications and distributed technology solutions.
• Build and maintain smart contracts and decentralised application components.
• Develop secure integrations between blockchain networks and traditional software platforms.
• Evaluate blockchain protocols and distributed-ledger technologies.
• Improve scalability, performance, and reliability across blockchain infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software engineers, security specialists, architects, and product teams.
• Conduct technical testing and code reviews.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and contribute to secure development practices.
• Develop APIs and backend services supporting blockchain applications.
• Monitor emerging developments in distributed systems and decentralised technologies.
• Produce technical documentation and architecture specifications.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of production technology environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or distributed-systems development.
• Strong programming skills in languages relevant to backend or blockchain development.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cryptographic concepts.
• Experience with smart contracts or blockchain development is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and software architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
