Design and oversee the technology architecture underpinning modern open-banking and financial-data platforms. The role requires strong technical leadership, systems thinking, and an understanding of how secure financial services are integrated across banking and fintech ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define scalable architecture for open-banking platforms, financial APIs, payment services, and data-exchange systems.
• Design secure integration frameworks connecting financial institutions, fintech platforms, payment providers, and third-party services.
• Establish API standards, integration patterns, service boundaries, and technical governance principles.
• Evaluate cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, databases, messaging technologies, and security architectures.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide technical direction to engineering teams.
• Assess system resilience, availability, scalability, latency, and operational performance.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into robust technical architectures.
• Identify architectural risks and establish appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support technology due diligence and evaluation of external financial technology providers.
• Develop long-term architecture roadmaps aligned with business and product objectives.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in software, enterprise, solution, or fintech architecture.
• Strong experience with APIs, microservices, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and databases.
• Understanding of open banking, payments, financial data, or banking technology.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and secure integration practices.
• Excellent technical leadership and communication skills.
