Description

About the Role

We are looking for an Affiliate Manager to oversee partner acquisition and relationship development within the foreign exchange and online trading technology sector. The position focuses on building a network of affiliates that can introduce relevant audiences to approved trading services through transparent, measurable, and responsibly managed marketing campaigns.

You will work with financial publishers, trading education websites, comparison platforms, digital media partners, and other approved traffic sources. Your responsibilities will include negotiating partnership agreements, monitoring campaign results, supporting affiliate onboarding, and maintaining strong standards for promotional quality.

The successful candidate will understand the commercial dynamics of performance marketing and appreciate the additional care required when working with financial products that involve market risk.

Main Responsibilities

  • Research and recruit affiliates, introducing brokers where appropriate, financial publishers, and digital partners that meet programme eligibility requirements.

  • Build and maintain a portfolio of active partners across suitable European and international markets.

  • Evaluate prospective affiliates based on audience relevance, traffic sources, marketing methods, reputation, and commercial potential.

  • Coordinate partner registration, due diligence, agreement execution, tracking integration, and campaign activation.

  • Explain approved product features, campaign conditions, commission models, and promotional requirements to affiliate partners.

  • Monitor partner activity, referral volumes, lead quality, customer conversion, and campaign profitability.

  • Review marketing content for consistency with approved claims, required risk warnings, and applicable financial promotion rules.

  • Work with compliance teams to assess partner suitability and address concerns relating to misleading advertising or inappropriate audience targeting.

  • Identify suspicious traffic, invalid registrations, duplicate referrals, and other patterns that may indicate affiliate abuse.

  • Coordinate campaign adjustments, promotional calendars, partner incentives, and approved marketing assets.

  • Maintain accurate records of affiliate performance, commission entitlements, contractual terms, and outstanding partner issues.

  • Prepare performance reports and recommend changes to partner allocation, campaign budgets, and programme strategy.

  • Support the resolution of affiliate enquiries concerning tracking discrepancies, payment schedules, campaign terms, and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience managing affiliate programmes, digital partnerships, or performance marketing campaigns.

  • Understanding of cost-per-acquisition, revenue-sharing arrangements, conversion attribution, and affiliate commission structures.

  • Familiarity with affiliate platforms, tracking links, analytics dashboards, CRM systems, and campaign reporting tools.

  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with external partners.

  • Good analytical skills, including the ability to investigate traffic anomalies and evaluate partner profitability.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing agreements, campaign conditions, promotional claims, and reporting discrepancies.

Experience in forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), online trading, financial publishing, or brokerage marketing would be particularly valuable. Candidates should understand that trading-related promotions must not misrepresent potential returns or minimise the possibility of financial loss.

Professional Standards

The Affiliate Manager will be expected to support responsible partner selection, transparent commercial arrangements, and accurate reporting. Affiliate relationships must operate within approved contractual terms and applicable marketing, privacy, and financial services requirements.

The position does not involve providing investment advice or encouraging unsuitable trading behaviour. Instead, it focuses on establishing commercially effective partnerships that meet appropriate standards for transparency and customer protection.

The Opportunity

This position provides exposure to international affiliate networks, financial technology marketing, and partnership development within a specialised trading environment. It is suitable for a professional who can combine commercial initiative with disciplined programme oversight and responsible financial marketing practices.
