A technology-driven financial services organization is looking for a Financial Data Intelligence Specialist to transform complex financial datasets into accurate, actionable intelligence.

This is an analytical individual-contributor role combining financial data, quantitative analysis, data quality and technology. The successful candidate will work with large and varied datasets to identify patterns, improve reporting accuracy and support data-driven financial products.

What You Will Do

• Analyse transactional, customer, operational and financial datasets.
• Develop analytical models and reporting frameworks for fintech products.
• Identify anomalies, inconsistencies and data-quality issues.
• Create meaningful financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Support data investigations involving payments, transactions and account activity.
• Translate complex datasets into clear analytical findings.
• Work with engineers and data specialists to improve data pipelines and structures.
• Validate data used in financial reporting and operational processes.
• Conduct trend analysis and investigate unusual patterns.
• Contribute to automation of recurring analytical and reporting workflows.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, documentation and reproducibility.

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent professional background in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, data analytics or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in financial data, fintech analytics, business intelligence or a comparable environment.
• Strong SQL capabilities.
• Experience with Python, R or another analytical programming language.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and analytical methodologies.
• Ability to work confidently with large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical reasoning.
• Familiarity with dashboards and visualization tools.
• Understanding of financial transactions and digital financial services is highly desirable.
• Strong written and spoken English.
