The Opportunity

A fast-growing fintech organisation in Estonia is looking for a Cross-Border Payments Product Lead to develop and scale digital payment capabilities across European and international markets.

The successful candidate will own a complex product domain involving payment routing, currencies, transaction visibility, settlement, partner connectivity, pricing, and customer experience.

What You Will Own

• Define the product vision and roadmap for cross-border payment services.
• Analyse payment corridors, customer requirements, market opportunities, and competitive offerings.
• Design strategies for improving transaction speed, reliability, transparency, and cost efficiency.
• Work with engineering teams to develop scalable payment-routing and orchestration capabilities.
• Coordinate integrations with banks, payment institutions, processors, and financial infrastructure providers.
• Define requirements for currency conversion, transaction tracking, settlement, refunds, and exception management.
• Monitor payment performance and identify opportunities to improve success rates and customer conversion.
• Develop product KPIs covering transaction volume, conversion, processing cost, settlement performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with compliance, treasury, finance, operations, and risk teams to ensure products are commercially viable and appropriately controlled.
• Lead product discovery and validation for new payment corridors and methods.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals for strategic payment initiatives.
• Coordinate product launches across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cross-border payments, payment processing, FX, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Experience working with payment providers and banking partners.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand APIs and technical integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• European payments experience is highly desirable.
