Position Overview

A product-focused technology environment in Estonia is seeking a UI Systems & Interaction Designer to help establish sophisticated interface standards across a growing portfolio of digital products.

This position is particularly suited to a designer with strong visual and interaction-design capabilities who enjoys building scalable design systems, defining reusable components, and creating consistent experiences across complex applications.

You will contribute to the visual language and interaction framework used by product teams while remaining closely involved in individual product experiences.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated user interfaces for web-based and mobile digital products.
• Create reusable UI components, patterns, and interaction standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a scalable design system.
• Establish consistent typography, spacing, layouts, controls, states, and visual behaviours.
• Design complex workflows, dashboards, forms, navigation systems, and data interfaces.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate intended behaviour.
• Define component states including loading, success, error, empty, disabled, and validation states.
• Work with engineers to translate design-system components into production interfaces.
• Conduct design reviews and provide implementation guidance.
• Identify inconsistencies across products and develop solutions to improve interface cohesion.
• Incorporate accessibility requirements into components and interaction patterns.
• Support usability testing and iterate designs based on findings.
• Maintain organised design files and clear component documentation.
• Contribute to design standards that can be adopted across multiple product teams.

Technical & Design Requirements

• Strong professional experience in UI, interaction, product, or UX design.
• Advanced Figma capability, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and design-system workflows.
• Strong understanding of responsive interface design.
• Excellent knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, colour systems, and interaction patterns.
• Experience developing or contributing to mature design systems.
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive-design principles.
• Ability to work closely with frontend engineers and understand the practical implications of interface implementation.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating production-level digital interfaces.
• Experience with fintech, banking, payments, trading platforms, SaaS, or other technically complex products is advantageous.
