Position Overview

The Specialist will support the development of interconnected financial services through open-banking technologies, financial APIs, embedded finance, and digital-platform integrations.

The role focuses on enabling financial capabilities to operate seamlessly across banking platforms, fintech applications, marketplaces, accounting systems, commerce platforms, and business software. The successful candidate will combine technical understanding with financial-product and integration knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze opportunities for open-banking and embedded-finance solutions.
• Support development and integration of financial APIs.
• Coordinate integrations between fintech platforms, banks, payment providers, and third-party applications.
• Define functional requirements for account-information and payment-related services.
• Analyze customer and business requirements for embedded financial products.
• Support development of financial services integrated into non-financial digital platforms.
• Evaluate API providers and technology partners.
• Work with developers to resolve integration issues and improve API performance.
• Assist with authentication, authorization, consent, and secure data-exchange requirements.
• Analyze integration performance, availability, and transaction quality.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, and operations teams.
• Develop technical and business documentation for financial integrations.
• Monitor developments in open finance and embedded financial services across Europe.
• Identify opportunities to improve interoperability between financial platforms.
• Support testing and deployment of new financial integrations.
