Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and service-level performance targets.
-
Develop monitoring, metrics, logging, and distributed tracing solutions.
-
Investigate production incidents, coordinate technical recovery, and conduct root-cause analysis.
-
Implement automation to eliminate repetitive operational tasks and reduce toil.
-
Improve system resilience through capacity planning, load testing, and failure analysis.
-
Manage alerting policies and reduce false-positive or low-value alerts.
-
Participate in incident reviews and implement corrective and preventive actions.
-
Work with developers to improve application performance, fault tolerance, and deployment safety.
-
Support disaster recovery planning, backup verification, and operational readiness assessments.
-
Maintain runbooks and incident-response documentation.
Essential Requirements
-
Experience in SRE, production engineering, DevOps, or systems operations.
-
Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, distributed systems, and troubleshooting.
-
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent platforms.
-
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, orchestration, and CI/CD.
-
Scripting or programming proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or a comparable language.
-
Understanding of incident management, post-incident reviews, and reliability engineering principles.
-
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively across engineering teams.
Desirable Experience
-
Experience operating high-availability or business-critical services.
-
Familiarity with chaos engineering, performance testing, and resilience patterns.
-
Knowledge of database reliability, caching, and message-queue systems.
-
Experience with on-call operations and incident-response procedures.
What We Offer
-
A role focused on measurable reliability and engineering improvements.
-
Opportunities to influence production architecture and operational standards.
-
Competitive salary and benefits aligned with experience.
-
Knowledge-sharing, technical training, and career development opportunities.
