📌 Role Summary

The Senior Forex Trading Operations Specialist will oversee essential operational activities supporting foreign exchange trading, ensuring that trade transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with trading, liquidity, risk, and settlement teams to maintain operational consistency across currency trading activities.

This position requires a strong understanding of forex market operations, trade lifecycle management, reconciliation procedures, and operational risk controls. The role is particularly suited to an experienced professional who can independently manage trading workflows within a remote financial services environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily foreign exchange trading operations and transaction processing activities.

• Monitor trade execution records and ensure accurate transaction documentation.

• Support trade confirmations, settlement arrangements, and post-trade reconciliation.

• Investigate discrepancies involving currency transactions, trading accounts, and settlement records.

• Collaborate with dealing and liquidity teams to resolve operational issues.

• Monitor operational exposures and escalate unusual trading activities when necessary.

• Maintain accurate trading reports and operational performance records.

• Identify opportunities to improve transaction processing efficiency.

• Ensure trading activities follow established internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

🎓 Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience in forex operations, financial services, or trading support.

• Good understanding of foreign exchange markets and currency trading processes.

• Experience with trade reconciliation, settlement procedures, and transaction monitoring.

• Familiarity with MT4, MT5, Bloomberg, or other financial trading platforms.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
