Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Risk Manager to develop and strengthen enterprise risk frameworks across digital financial products and technology-driven financial operations. The role will combine strategic risk oversight, quantitative analysis, operational resilience, and cross-functional governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and operational risk frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and quantify emerging risks across fintech products and business processes.
• Establish risk appetite metrics, thresholds, and key risk indicators.
• Monitor credit, liquidity, operational, technology, transaction, and third-party risks.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress-testing exercises.
• Review new products and business initiatives from a risk perspective.
• Collaborate with technology teams to address technology and cybersecurity-related exposures.
• Analyse incidents, control failures, and operational losses and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare executive-level risk reports and management dashboards.
• Coordinate risk assessments across product, finance, operations, compliance, and technology functions.
• Track remediation programmes and verify implementation of agreed controls.
• Continuously improve risk methodologies, documentation, and monitoring processes.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise risk.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational risk principles.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience developing risk indicators, reporting frameworks, and control mechanisms.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial and operational information and translate it into practical decisions.
