Role Overview
We are seeking a Forex Risk Manager to establish and oversee comprehensive risk controls governing currency-market activities. The successful candidate will monitor trading exposures, assess market and liquidity risks, develop risk frameworks, and provide independent oversight of foreign-exchange operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time FX exposures and aggregate trading positions.
• Establish appropriate market, counterparty, liquidity, and operational risk controls.
• Analyze Value at Risk (VaR), stress scenarios, sensitivity measures, and potential drawdowns.
• Review leverage, margin utilization, stop-loss structures, and concentration levels.
• Identify emerging risks arising from volatility, liquidity conditions, and market events.
• Prepare daily and periodic risk reports for senior management.
• Challenge trading strategies where risk exposure exceeds approved parameters.
• Conduct stress testing around major economic and geopolitical events.
• Review risk-limit breaches and coordinate appropriate escalation procedures.
• Strengthen policies, controls, and reporting frameworks as market conditions evolve.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in financial-market risk, FX risk, treasury, or investment risk.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives, market-risk methodologies, and quantitative risk measurement.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, risk-management platforms, or business-intelligence tools.
• FRM, PRM, CFA, or comparable professional certification is an advantage.
