We are seeking a Foreign Exchange Risk Manager to develop and maintain sophisticated risk-management frameworks across FX trading and treasury activities.
Position Overview
You will work across market risk, liquidity risk, counterparty exposure, and trading controls. The position combines quantitative analysis with practical risk governance and close collaboration with trading, treasury, compliance, and technology teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor FX market, liquidity, counterparty, and position risks.
- Establish and maintain risk limits for currency exposures and trading activities.
- Analyze portfolio sensitivity to exchange-rate movements and market volatility.
- Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk reporting.
- Review trading activity against established risk parameters.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for senior management.
- Identify emerging risks across currencies, counterparties, liquidity providers, and trading infrastructure.
- Collaborate with treasury and trading teams on hedging and exposure-management strategies.
- Review pricing, execution, and liquidity-related risk indicators.
- Strengthen risk controls through automation, data analysis, and technology.
- Support regulatory and internal risk reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the organization’s FX risk framework.
Candidate Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in market risk, FX risk, treasury, trading, or quantitative financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of foreign-exchange markets and financial-risk methodologies.
- Experience with VaR, stress testing, sensitivity analysis, and exposure measurement.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency with financial data, spreadsheets, SQL, Python, or comparable analytical tools.
- Understanding of counterparty and liquidity risk.
- Strong ability to communicate complex risk information to senior stakeholders.
- Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
