Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that software applications and digital solutions meet established standards for functionality, reliability, performance, and usability.

The successful candidate will work closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, and other technology professionals throughout the product-development lifecycle.

The Role

As Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design and execute testing strategies that identify defects and ensure that products perform reliably before and after release.

You will contribute to test planning, test automation, defect analysis, regression testing, and continuous improvement of quality-assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain automated testing processes where appropriate.
• Validate software against functional and technical requirements.
• Participate in product-development and release-planning activities.
• Conduct usability and performance-related testing when required.
• Maintain accurate testing documentation and quality reports.
• Recommend improvements to testing methodologies and development processes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be methodical, analytical, and highly attentive to detail. You should have a strong understanding of software quality principles and be comfortable investigating technical problems and communicating findings to development teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong understanding of software-development and testing lifecycles.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and defect-management platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and web technologies is advantageous.
• Programming or scripting experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
