We are seeking a commercially aware and highly analytical Procurement Analyst to support purchasing decisions, supplier performance, expenditure analysis, and procurement optimization.

The successful candidate will use data and market intelligence to help the organization improve purchasing efficiency, manage costs, and make informed supplier and sourcing decisions.

The Role

As Procurement Analyst, you will analyze procurement information and provide insights that support strategic sourcing and operational purchasing activities.

You will work closely with procurement, finance, operations, and suppliers to evaluate expenditure, monitor purchasing trends, identify savings opportunities, and improve the quality of procurement reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement expenditure, supplier performance, and purchasing trends.
• Prepare procurement dashboards, reports, and management presentations.
• Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
• Support supplier evaluations and sourcing exercises.
• Monitor purchase orders, contract information, and procurement activity.
• Conduct market research and analyze supplier pricing.
• Support forecasting and procurement planning activities.
• Identify purchasing irregularities and potential operational risks.
• Maintain accurate procurement databases and documentation.
• Provide analytical recommendations to procurement and business leaders.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical and analytical abilities with a disciplined approach to working with procurement data. You should be able to turn complex purchasing information into clear recommendations that support better commercial decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in procurement analysis, purchasing, supply chain, finance, or business analysis.
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
• Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful trends.
• Knowledge of procurement systems or ERP platforms is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
