Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Prime Brokerage Specialist to support institutional clients, professional trading firms, hedge funds, and other financial market participants using prime brokerage services. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth delivery of brokerage solutions, ensuring efficient account administration, accurate trade processing, reliable client support, and effective coordination between trading, risk, compliance, and settlement teams.

This position is suited to a financial services professional with a strong understanding of institutional trading workflows, brokerage operations, and the requirements of sophisticated market participants. The role offers an opportunity to work across multiple asset classes while helping maintain high operational standards and dependable client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding and ongoing administration of institutional brokerage clients, including account documentation, trading permissions, and service configurations.

• Coordinate with execution desks, liquidity providers, custodians, and internal operations teams to facilitate efficient trade execution and post-trade processing.

• Monitor client account activity, margin utilisation, collateral balances, and financing arrangements, escalating discrepancies or emerging operational risks.

• Assist with the setup and maintenance of prime brokerage services, including reporting arrangements, trading access, and transaction workflows.

• Investigate trade breaks, booking discrepancies, settlement issues, and account reconciliation differences, ensuring timely resolution.

• Prepare accurate client reports covering transaction activity, positions, margin requirements, and relevant account information.

• Work closely with compliance and risk teams to support regulatory requirements, client due diligence, and internal control procedures.

• Maintain clear records of operational activities, client instructions, service requests, and issue-resolution outcomes.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the overall institutional client experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in prime brokerage, institutional FX, securities services, brokerage operations, or financial market support.

• Understanding of trade lifecycle management, margining, collateral, financing, reconciliation, and settlement processes.

• Familiarity with multi-asset trading products, including foreign exchange, equities, derivatives, or fixed-income instruments.

• Experience using brokerage platforms, order management systems, trade processing tools, and financial reporting applications.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate complex operational discrepancies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional English proficiency.

• Knowledge of EU financial services requirements and familiarity with Estonia’s regulatory environment are advantageous.
