Role Overview

The Performance Analyst will evaluate Forex trading and investment performance using quantitative metrics, statistical analysis, and detailed attribution techniques. The position is designed for an analytical professional capable of turning trading data into meaningful performance intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term FX trading performance.
• Calculate key performance indicators including returns, volatility, drawdown, Sharpe ratios, and risk-adjusted results.
• Conduct trade-level and portfolio-level performance attribution.
• Identify the strategies, currency pairs, time periods, and market conditions contributing to performance.
• Analyze winning and losing trade distributions and execution patterns.
• Develop dashboards for monitoring trading performance.
• Compare realized performance against benchmarks and predefined objectives.
• Investigate unusual performance deviations and recurring inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams.
• Recommend improvements based on empirical trading evidence.
• Maintain accurate historical performance databases and analytical reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in investment analysis, trading analytics, quantitative research, or financial performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong statistical capabilities.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, or comparable analytical tools is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of FX markets and performance measurement methodologies.
