We are looking for an experienced Open Banking Integration Lead to drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of integrations connecting financial platforms with banks, payment providers, and third-party financial services.

This is a senior technical role for someone who understands both the engineering complexity of financial integrations and the reliability standards expected from modern fintech infrastructure.

The Opportunity

You will own major integration initiatives from technical discovery through production deployment. Working across engineering, product, security, operations, and external technology partners, you will ensure that financial connectivity is secure, scalable, observable, and commercially reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of open-banking and financial-data integrations.
• Design robust API integration patterns for external financial institutions.
• Define authentication, authorization, error-handling, retry, and reconciliation strategies.
• Evaluate third-party APIs, SDKs, and connectivity providers.
• Establish integration standards for reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex production integration issues.
• Coordinate technical requirements with external banking and technology partners.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and integration observability.
• Support account-information and payment-initiation capabilities where applicable.
• Contribute to technical documentation and integration governance.
• Review integration architecture and identify opportunities for modernization.
• Mentor engineers working on financial connectivity projects.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, fintech integrations, payments, banking technology, or API platforms.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating external financial or enterprise platforms.
• Good knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, and encryption.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application architecture.
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and external engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
