Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

 • This position analyzes customer demand material requirements and orders material from suppliers and schedules material to be built on the production floor

.• Works directly with Suppliers and other Magna plants on material requirements

.• Review materials planning for the product groups assigned, issue purchase orders to suppliers, send forecasts, and daily tracking of inbound material ensuring on time arrival.

• Establish relationships with suppliers, hold supplier meetings, effective communication reviewing open purchase orders and delivery schedules.

• Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize conflicting tasks

.• Participate in daily production meetings to communicate current inventory levels, schedule compliance, and other operating parameters

.• Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Identify and escalate production issues that may impact production output or quality.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and reduce costs.

• Prepare management summary reports and trend charts detailing department key efficiency operating indicators.

• Analyze data to determine statistics, trends, measurable, etc. and act as required

.• Facilitate positive working relationships between all support staff garnering a team environment.
