Description

About the role

You’ll be embedded in the Marketplace Operations function within our Central Operations team, which builds the operational foundations for  Food to scale globally.

The right person for this role is a highly analytical executor, someone who digs into data themselves, identifies exactly what’s driving performance, and then drives the operational changes that move the metric.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Own CDT end-to-end across all markets. Build a deep understanding of its components — dispatch logic, courier supply, venue wait time, and delivery distance — and maintain a structured view of the biggest improvement opportunities at any given time.

  • Run the analysis yourself. Deep-dive into CDT components by city, time of day, venue type, and courier segment using SQL. Translate findings into clear, prioritised actions — not just observations.

  • Build and own core dashboards and reports that drive decision-making for central and local teams, including the primary CDT performance dashboard used across the organisation.

  • Drive cross-functional execution. Work with local ops teams on delivery area changes, with Product on dispatch logic and ETA improvements, and with Pricing on cost-efficiency levers. Get things done across multiple stakeholders and time zones.

  • Optimise delivery areas and radius strategy across 250+ cities to reduce average delivery distance, cut cost per order, and remove underperforming fringe zones — small distance improvements compound significantly at millions of monthly orders.

  • Improve courier acceptance rate through non-monetary levers — smarter order matching, cash payment configuration, and vehicle type eligibility — each with a direct positive effect on CDT, cancellation rate, and courier satisfaction.

About you:

  • You have 4+ years of relevant experience with a clear trajectory from analytical roles into business operations or marketplace management, including 2+ years working extensively with large data volumes.

  • You have advanced SQL skills — you write complex queries confidently, work with large datasets daily, and navigate data infrastructure independently. This is non-negotiable.

  • You have experience translating analysis into operational change — going beyond dashboards to implement changes cross-functionally, measure results, and take ownership of outcomes.

  • You have experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) and a solid grasp of statistics, including A/B test design and interpretation.

  • You have strong stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning diverse teams, influencing without authority, and communicating clearly across seniority levels in English.

  • You are based in Tallinn or willing to relocate (relocation support to Tallinn HQ is available), and comfortable working in a hybrid setup.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
