We are seeking an accomplished Head of Fintech Platform Engineering to lead the engineering strategy behind scalable financial technology infrastructure. This is a senior technology leadership opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who understands the reliability, security, and performance requirements of modern fintech platforms.

You will lead engineering teams responsible for core financial services while working closely with product, architecture, security, compliance, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy for core fintech platforms and services.
• Lead the development and evolution of scalable financial infrastructure.
• Oversee engineering standards across APIs, microservices, databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Drive improvements in platform reliability, availability, performance, and operational resilience.
• Establish effective engineering practices for architecture, testing, deployment, observability, and incident management.
• Partner with product leadership to translate commercial objectives into sustainable technical solutions.
• Ensure security and regulatory requirements are incorporated throughout the technology lifecycle.
• Develop engineering talent through mentoring, technical leadership, and performance development.
• Manage complex technology initiatives involving multiple engineering and business functions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their practical value to the fintech platform.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant engineering-management or technical leadership responsibility.
• Strong background in fintech, payments, banking technology, financial platforms, or another highly transactional environment.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, and modern software-development practices.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, resilience, and technology governance.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and executive stakeholder-management skills.
