About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Governance Manager to strengthen organizational oversight across cybersecurity, regulatory technology, compliance, operational controls, and digital financial services.

The successful candidate will help establish effective governance structures capable of supporting innovation while ensuring that technology and business activities operate within appropriate control frameworks.

This role requires a broad understanding of the relationship between financial regulation, cybersecurity, technology risk, internal controls, digital transformation, and business operations.

You will work closely with compliance specialists, cybersecurity teams, technology leaders, risk professionals, product managers, and senior management to identify governance requirements and ensure that important policies, controls, and procedures remain effective.

The position offers a unique opportunity to operate across several of the most important areas of the modern fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks for digital financial operations.
• Support the implementation of technology and cybersecurity control standards.
• Coordinate compliance and regulatory requirements across relevant business functions.
• Review internal policies and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Identify governance gaps associated with new products and technology initiatives.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to support appropriate information-security governance.
• Monitor emerging regulatory and technology-risk developments.
• Support internal assessments and control reviews.
• Develop governance reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate documentation relating to policies, controls, risks, and compliance activities.
• Support technology teams during the implementation of new digital platforms.
• Promote awareness of governance, cybersecurity, and compliance responsibilities.
• Assist with operational-resilience and business-continuity initiatives.
• Develop practical recommendations that balance regulatory requirements with business innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in governance, compliance, cybersecurity, risk, RegTech, banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and organizational governance.
• Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity risk principles.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and operational requirements.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder-management capabilities.
• High level of professional integrity and attention to detail.
• Experience working within technology-driven or regulated environments is highly advantageous.
