About the role

The Global Merchant Strategy & Planning function creates clarity on priorities, drives planning and forecasting, and ensures disciplined execution across Merchant functions, including Sales, Account Management, Merchant Operations, Enterprise, and Commercial Enablement. In this role, you will own the Merchant domain planning and performance cadence, turn strategy into actionable plans, track progress against goals, and identify risks and trade-offs early. You will align senior stakeholders around priorities, investment decisions, and performance expectations, helping bring focus and accountability across a complex, cross-functional organisation. We are looking for a strategic and analytical leader who is comfortable operating at a senior level, thrives in ambiguity, and can drive alignment and execution across multiple teams. This role is based in Tallinn, Estonia, where our HQ is located.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Own the Merchant domain planning and performance cadence, including quarterly target setting, forecasting, and progress tracking.
Translate Merchant strategy into clear execution plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes across Merchant functions.
Oversee performance across the Merchant funnel, including acquisition, activation, retention, efficiency, CAC, and LTV.
Hold functional leaders accountable for delivery against goals, timelines, and initiatives, surfacing risks and corrective actions early.
Lead large-scale, high-impact initiatives related to merchant growth, activation, retention, and profitability.
Act as a strategic thought partner to the Director Merchant on priorities, trade-offs, investment decisions, and planning frameworks.

About you:

You have proven experience in strategy, planning, analytics, finance, consulting, or a similar role in a fast-paced, international environment.
You have strong experience translating strategy into execution across complex, cross-functional organisations.
You have high analytical capability, including forecasting, performance analysis, and business modelling.
You have proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decisions through structured thinking and data.
You have strong commercial judgement, with the ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to create clarity and accountability in ambiguous environments.
