Position Overview

An established financial-markets operation in Estonia is seeking a high-calibre FX Sales Trader to strengthen its European foreign-exchange business. The position is designed for a market professional who can combine sophisticated client coverage with strong execution discipline and a deep understanding of global currency markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding client relationships while acting as an effective bridge between market liquidity, trading capabilities, and client requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with European corporate and professional FX clients.
• Develop a strong understanding of client trading patterns, hedging requirements, and liquidity needs.
• Provide real-time FX pricing and coordinate transactions with the trading desk.
• Execute client orders accurately and efficiently within approved trading parameters.
• Follow major currency pairs, emerging-market currencies, rates markets, and macroeconomic indicators.
• Develop concise market views and communicate relevant insights to clients.
• Identify opportunities to increase trading volumes and expand existing client relationships.
• Support onboarding of new professional clients in collaboration with compliance and operations.
• Monitor transaction quality, pricing competitiveness, and execution outcomes.
• Collaborate with risk management and treasury teams on exposure and liquidity considerations.
• Maintain high standards of market conduct, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute market intelligence and client feedback to the wider FX business.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in FX sales, FX trading, brokerage, treasury, investment banking, or a related markets environment.
• Strong knowledge of global currency markets and FX instruments.
• Experience working with professional, institutional, or corporate clients.
• Understanding of European financial-market regulations and conduct standards.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to make sound decisions under time-sensitive market conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and market-data systems.
