A sophisticated financial-services environment is seeking an FX Operations & Settlement Lead to oversee the operational lifecycle of foreign-exchange transactions, from trade capture through confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement.

The position offers an opportunity to lead a critical function supporting reliable and controlled FX activity while working closely with trading, treasury, technology, finance, risk, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily FX trade-processing and settlement operations.
• Oversee trade capture, confirmation, matching, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Manage operational exceptions and coordinate timely resolution.
• Monitor settlement exposure and investigate discrepancies.
• Establish robust controls around transaction processing and operational risk.
• Work with banks, custodians, liquidity providers, and settlement partners.
• Develop operational KPIs and management reporting.
• Improve reconciliation and exception-management processes through automation.
• Participate in system implementations and upgrades affecting FX operations.
• Coordinate with compliance and risk teams on operational-control requirements.
• Document procedures and establish scalable operating standards.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in FX operations, banking operations, brokerage, treasury, or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of the FX trade lifecycle.
• Understanding of confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and payment processes.
• Experience working with financial operations platforms and automated workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable managing operational priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
