A sophisticated financial-technology environment is seeking an FX Compliance & Market Integrity Specialist to strengthen oversight across foreign-exchange trading activities, client operations, and regulatory controls.

This role is designed for a compliance professional who understands the practical mechanics of FX markets and can work effectively with trading, operations, technology, risk, and legal teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor FX trading activity for potential compliance and market-conduct concerns.
• Review trading patterns, client activity, and transaction data against established controls.
• Support surveillance processes covering unusual trading behaviour and potential market-abuse indicators.
• Develop and enhance compliance procedures for FX products and trading workflows.
• Collaborate with technology teams to improve automated surveillance and alert-management systems.
• Investigate escalated compliance cases and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and internal compliance assessments.
• Review new FX products and platform features from a regulatory-control perspective.
• Support compliance testing, control reviews, and remediation programmes.
• Monitor relevant European regulatory developments and translate requirements into operational controls.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on FX compliance procedures.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience in financial-services compliance, FX, brokerage, market surveillance, investment services, or RegTech.
• Strong understanding of FX trading processes and financial-market conduct.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC, transaction monitoring, market-abuse controls, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience analysing transaction or trading data.
• Familiarity with compliance-monitoring and surveillance technologies.
• Strong investigative, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional English; knowledge of European regulatory environments is highly valuable.
