A forward-looking fintech environment in Estonia is seeking a Digital Assets Compliance & Risk Specialist to support risk management and regulatory controls across digital-asset and blockchain-enabled financial services.

The role combines compliance, financial crime prevention, operational risk, blockchain technology, and regulatory technology.

The Role

You will help develop practical risk frameworks for digital-asset products while working closely with compliance, legal, product, technology, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support compliance frameworks for digital-asset and blockchain-related financial products.
• Conduct risk assessments covering customers, products, transactions, and operational processes.
• Contribute to AML/KYC and transaction-monitoring frameworks.
• Monitor developments in digital-asset regulation and translate relevant requirements into operational controls.
• Review blockchain transaction-risk indicators and emerging financial-crime typologies.
• Support enhanced due-diligence and higher-risk customer reviews.
• Develop compliance requirements for new digital-asset products and features.
• Work with technology teams to improve automated monitoring and compliance workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation, control frameworks, procedures, and audit evidence.
• Support internal compliance testing and remediation programmes.
• Collaborate with security teams on fraud, account compromise, and digital-asset security risks.
• Prepare risk assessments and compliance reports for senior stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

You should have experience in financial compliance, AML, risk management, RegTech, banking, payments, or digital assets.

Knowledge of blockchain transactions, crypto-asset risk, KYC/KYB, sanctions controls, transaction monitoring, and regulatory frameworks would be highly relevant.

Strong analytical ability and the capacity to communicate complex regulatory and technology issues clearly are essential.
