We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who can build reliable applications, integrate complex backend systems, and deliver secure, user-friendly interfaces.

Position Overview

In this role, you will develop frontend and backend components for business-critical applications. You will contribute to application architecture, API development, database design, and the implementation of features that support operational efficiency and a high-quality customer experience.

You will work closely with product, security, QA, and operations teams to ensure applications meet functional requirements while maintaining appropriate standards for performance, reliability, and data protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications supporting financial workflows and enterprise business processes.
• Build interactive frontend components using React, Angular, or another suitable framework.
• Implement backend services using Java, Kotlin, C#, Python, or Node.js.
• Design and maintain REST APIs and service integrations.
• Develop database schemas, data-access layers, and efficient SQL queries.
• Integrate with external systems, identity providers, and third-party business services.
• Implement secure authentication and authorisation workflows and role-based access controls.
• Apply validation, error handling, audit logging, and appropriate data-integrity safeguards.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders on relevant application requirements.
• Develop automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain engineering quality.
• Investigate application defects, production incidents, and integration failures.
• Improve system performance, maintainability, and deployment reliability.
• Document technical decisions, API specifications, and operational procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in full-stack application development.
• Strong knowledge of at least one frontend framework and one backend programming language.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and modern web development practices.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorisation, and secure data handling.
• Familiarity with software testing, Git, CI/CD, and collaborative development practices.
• Ability to investigate technical problems across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent English communication skills; Estonian proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in fintech, banking, payment services, insurance, or enterprise software.
• Familiarity with payment integrations, transaction workflows, or financial data processing.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and API security.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure automation.
• Understanding of GDPR and the importance of protecting personal and financial information.
• Experience working with message brokers, distributed systems, or asynchronous jobs.
