Position Overview

We are seeking a capable Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern digital applications that combine intuitive user interfaces with secure, reliable backend services. The successful candidate will contribute across the software development lifecycle, building features that support digital payments, financial account management, customer portals, and other technology-driven services.

This position requires a strong understanding of frontend and backend development, database design, API integration, and application security. You will work alongside product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into practical software solutions while maintaining high standards of performance, scalability, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Build backend services, business logic, and APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or C#.

• Design and maintain database structures, optimise queries, and ensure data consistency.

• Integrate third-party services, including payment gateways, identity verification tools, and notification systems.

• Implement secure authentication, authorisation, session management, and input validation.

• Develop automated tests to verify application functionality and prevent regressions.

• Investigate technical issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.

• Improve application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across supported devices.

• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve existing products.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrable experience developing full-stack web applications.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with a modern frontend framework.

• Practical experience building backend applications and RESTful APIs.

• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or another relational database.

• Familiarity with Git, Docker, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.

• Understanding of web application security, data protection, and software development best practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with fintech applications, digital banking, transaction processing, or other data-sensitive platforms will be an advantage.

Technical Environment

The role may involve TypeScript, React, Node.js, relational databases, REST APIs, containerisation, cloud infrastructure, and automated deployment pipelines. Candidates should be comfortable learning new technologies where required and selecting appropriate solutions for specific engineering challenges.
