Role Overview
The Fraud Specialist will strengthen the organization’s ability to identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity across digital financial products. The role combines transaction analysis, fraud intelligence, investigative techniques, and technology-driven controls to protect customers, transactions, and financial assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and customer activity for unusual or potentially fraudulent patterns.
• Investigate suspected fraud cases and determine appropriate actions.
• Analyze transaction histories, account behavior, device intelligence, and other relevant indicators.
• Support the development and refinement of fraud-detection rules and risk thresholds.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automated fraud-monitoring systems.
• Identify emerging fraud techniques and assess their potential impact on financial products.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports and maintain appropriate case documentation.
• Analyze false positives and recommend improvements to fraud-detection models.
• Work closely with risk, compliance, cybersecurity, customer operations, and payments teams.
• Monitor fraud trends and produce periodic intelligence reports for management.
• Recommend preventive controls that reduce financial losses without unnecessarily disrupting legitimate customers.
• Contribute to fraud-response procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in fraud prevention, banking, payments, fintech, financial investigations, or risk management.
• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of transaction patterns and financial-service workflows.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, analytics platforms, or fraud-monitoring systems.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
