Role Summary

The Forex Margin Operations Specialist will support the monitoring and administration of margin requirements associated with foreign exchange trading accounts.

The role focuses on reviewing margin utilization, monitoring account equity, supporting margin call procedures, and ensuring that trading account information remains accurate and up to date.

Working remotely from Estonia, the successful candidate will collaborate with trading operations, risk management, and customer support teams to maintain effective margin monitoring procedures and support the operational integrity of forex trading activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor margin utilization and account equity across forex trading accounts.

• Review initial margin, maintenance margin, and available trading capital.

• Identify accounts approaching established margin thresholds.

• Support the processing and monitoring of margin call notifications.

• Investigate discrepancies involving account balances, margin calculations, and trading records.

• Monitor open positions and assess the impact of currency price movements on account margin.

• Coordinate with trading operations teams regarding margin-related operational issues.

• Maintain accurate records of margin requirements and account monitoring activities.

• Support the review of margin policies and operational procedures.

• Prepare regular reports covering margin utilization, account exposure, and margin-related exceptions.

• Assist with the reconciliation of trading account balances and financial records.

• Collaborate with risk teams to improve margin monitoring controls.

• Support the testing and implementation of margin-related system updates.

• Contribute to the improvement of operational workflows and reporting procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in forex operations, margin administration, trading support, or financial services.

• Strong understanding of forex trading accounts, leverage, margin requirements, and account equity.

• Familiarity with margin calls, exposure monitoring, and trading account reconciliation.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

• Familiarity with trading platforms or brokerage management systems is an advantage.

• Ability to investigate account discrepancies and resolve operational issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a remote working environment.
