About the Opportunity

We are seeking a capable Flutter Developer to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. This role is ideal for an engineer who understands how to create consistent mobile experiences from a shared codebase while respecting the performance, usability, and platform-specific requirements of each operating system.

You will work across application architecture, interface development, backend integration, testing, and deployment. In collaboration with product designers, backend engineers, and QA professionals, you will help deliver scalable mobile solutions that are straightforward to maintain and ready for continued product development.

Experience building applications for fintech, digital commerce, payments, or other services requiring secure user interactions is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Translate product designs and functional specifications into responsive, accessible, and reusable interface components.
• Design and maintain a clear application architecture that supports testing, scalability, and efficient feature development.
• Integrate REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, backend services, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement application state management using suitable approaches such as Riverpod, Bloc, or Provider.
• Apply secure development practices when handling user sessions, sensitive data, application permissions, and network communication.
• Ensure consistent functionality across iOS and Android while addressing platform-specific requirements where necessary.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks, rendering issues, crashes, and device compatibility problems.
• Write unit, widget, and integration tests to improve application reliability.
• Maintain build configurations and support automated testing, CI/CD, and app store deployment workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation of development decisions.
• Work with backend and QA teams to investigate defects and deliver dependable releases.

Skills and Experience

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• Demonstrable experience developing and maintaining production applications with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong understanding of reusable widgets, responsive layouts, asynchronous programming, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with state management, API integration, JSON handling, and local persistence.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging tools, automated testing, and dependency management.
• Understanding of native iOS and Android build processes and the differences between both platforms.
• Knowledge of mobile security, performance optimization, and accessibility principles.
• Ability to work independently on assigned features while collaborating effectively with a wider engineering team.
• Professional English communication skills.

Preferred Technical Experience

Candidates with experience using Firebase, push notifications, analytics platforms, secure local storage, deep linking, and automated deployment pipelines will be considered favourably. Exposure to native Swift or Kotlin is beneficial when troubleshooting platform-specific behaviour or integrating native SDKs.

Experience with digital payments, financial dashboards, identity verification, or other transaction-sensitive workflows is also desirable.
