Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fintech Software Engineer to develop and maintain software solutions for digital financial services, including payment applications, account management platforms, transaction processing systems, and financial data services.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and maintainable applications that meet business requirements while protecting the integrity of financial information. Working with engineers, product specialists, quality assurance professionals, and compliance stakeholders, you will help deliver reliable software features throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for fintech applications and financial service platforms.

• Implement backend services, APIs, and application features supporting payments, accounts, transaction histories, and financial reporting.

• Develop maintainable code using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and engineering standards.

• Integrate internal applications with payment providers, banking interfaces, identity verification services, and external financial APIs.

• Implement automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain software quality.

• Investigate and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

• Apply secure coding practices and contribute to the protection of sensitive financial and customer information.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.

• Participate in technical planning, documentation, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.

• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, system reliability, and development workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Three or more years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in at least one relevant language, such as Java, Python, TypeScript, C#, or Go.

• Experience developing APIs, working with databases, and integrating third-party services.

• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.

• Understanding of application security, data validation, error handling, and software architecture fundamentals.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and deliver maintainable solutions.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience with payment systems, banking APIs, transaction processing, or regulated financial applications is advantageous.

Technical Environment

Depending on the project, the engineering environment may include Java, Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker, cloud infrastructure, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
