Description

The Role

We are looking for a commercially minded Fintech Recruitment Consultant to identify, engage, and qualify professionals for specialist opportunities spanning financial technology and digital financial services.

Rather than focusing solely on vacancy administration, this role requires a market-oriented recruitment professional capable of understanding technical requirements, identifying relevant talent communities, building candidate relationships, and translating hiring requirements into effective recruitment strategies.

You will work across areas such as digital banking, payment technology, blockchain, financial software, cybersecurity, data engineering, compliance technology, cloud infrastructure, and fintech operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own recruitment assignments from role briefing through candidate presentation and selection support.
  • Develop detailed understanding of technical and functional requirements for fintech vacancies.
  • Research relevant talent markets and identify high-potential professionals.
  • Build candidate pipelines using direct sourcing, professional networks, recruitment platforms, referrals, and industry communities.
  • Approach passive candidates with professional and highly targeted recruitment communications.
  • Conduct competency-based screening and structured candidate interviews.
  • Assess candidates against experience, technical exposure, professional achievements, and role requirements.
  • Prepare concise candidate profiles for hiring stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Develop long-term relationships with professionals working across Estonia’s fintech and technology ecosystem.
  • Track recruitment activity, candidate conversion, sourcing performance, and pipeline development.
  • Provide recruitment-market intelligence relating to talent availability, emerging skills, and candidate expectations.
  • Contribute to the refinement of sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill specialist positions.
  • Ensure recruitment activities are conducted professionally, consistently, and in accordance with applicable employment and data-protection requirements.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven recruitment or executive-search experience within technology, fintech, banking, financial services, consulting, or another specialist professional-services environment.
  • Strong ability to understand technical and business-oriented job requirements.
  • Experience sourcing candidates for software engineering, cybersecurity, data, payments, compliance, product, or financial-services positions.
  • Confident conducting structured candidate interviews and professional screening conversations.
  • Strong research and talent-mapping capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing several recruitment assignments concurrently.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Estonia’s technology and fintech employment market is advantageous.

Success in This Position

Success will be measured through the quality and relevance of candidate pipelines, speed and accuracy of candidate identification, stakeholder satisfaction, candidate engagement, recruitment-process discipline, and the ability to consistently source specialised professionals in competitive talent markets.

Professional Environment

The role provides direct exposure to the evolving Estonian fintech and technology ecosystem, with opportunities to work across recruitment assignments involving digital financial services, payment infrastructure, financial software, emerging technologies, and technology-enabled banking.
