Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Fintech Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build, secure, and optimise cloud infrastructure supporting digital payments, banking applications, financial APIs, and transaction-processing services.

This is a hands-on engineering position for a professional who understands the reliability requirements of financial technology platforms and can translate infrastructure requirements into resilient, scalable technical environments. You will work closely with software engineers, security specialists, and product teams to ensure fintech services remain performant and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure for financial technology applications.
• Deploy and manage production workloads across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Build scalable infrastructure supporting high-volume financial transactions.
• Manage Kubernetes, Docker, networking, storage, and cloud-native services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or comparable technologies.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Establish infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management.
• Improve availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
• Implement IAM, secrets management, encryption, and network security controls.
• Investigate infrastructure incidents and coordinate technical remediation.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise application deployment and performance.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong practical experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, and networking.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, messaging systems, and distributed applications.
• Understanding of cloud security and financial application environments.
• Strong incident-response and troubleshooting capabilities.
