Position Overview

We are looking for a Fintech Cloud Engineer to build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure supporting secure and highly available financial technology platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with software engineers, security specialists, data professionals, and product teams to create resilient infrastructure capable of supporting demanding financial workloads.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for fintech applications.
• Develop scalable and highly available infrastructure architectures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
• Support containerised workloads and cloud-native services.
• Manage infrastructure security, access controls, secrets, and configuration.
• Monitor system performance and investigate infrastructure-related incidents.
• Implement backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity mechanisms.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment processes.
• Optimise cloud resources for reliability, performance, and efficient utilisation.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and technical runbooks.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident improvement activities.
• Support security and compliance requirements affecting cloud infrastructure.

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of professional cloud or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code technology.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and Git-based workflows.
• Understanding of cloud security and IAM.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and highly available architectures.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or another security-sensitive environment is advantageous.
