Give Leadership a Clear View of the Business

A technology-led financial organisation is seeking a Fintech Business Intelligence Manager to establish a high-quality business intelligence function supporting strategic, operational, and commercial decision-making.

You will lead the development of analytical frameworks that allow teams to understand customer behaviour, product performance, transaction activity, revenue, operational efficiency, and emerging business trends.

Your Responsibilities

• Define the business intelligence strategy across the fintech organisation.
• Develop executive dashboards and performance-reporting frameworks.
• Establish consistent KPIs across products, operations, finance, and commercial functions.
• Analyse transaction volumes, customer activity, revenue, retention, and product adoption.
• Partner with product teams to measure feature and product performance.
• Work with finance teams on forecasting, revenue analysis, and business planning.
• Develop automated reporting processes that reduce manual analytical work.
• Establish data-quality standards for management reporting.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps requiring management attention.
• Translate complex datasets into clear commercial recommendations.
• Work with data engineers to improve data models and reporting infrastructure.
• Manage and mentor analysts while establishing best practices for BI delivery.
• Present analytical findings to senior leadership and support strategic planning.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, financial analytics, fintech, banking, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable tools.
• Strong understanding of financial and commercial KPIs.
• Experience analysing transactional or customer-level datasets.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and reporting architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical executives.
• Experience with Python or other analytical technologies is advantageous.
• Fintech or payments experience is strongly preferred.
