Role Summary

The Financial Systems Configuration Specialist will be responsible for configuring and maintaining technology systems used to support financial operations and digital financial services.

The successful candidate will work with business analysts, software engineers, finance professionals, and operational teams to translate business requirements into effective system configurations.

The position involves maintaining system parameters, supporting workflow automation, investigating configuration-related issues, and ensuring that financial applications remain aligned with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain financial applications in line with approved business and operational requirements.

• Review existing system settings and identify opportunities to improve application functionality.

• Translate business requirements into system configuration specifications.

• Support the implementation of financial workflows, transaction rules, and automated processing procedures.

• Investigate configuration-related issues affecting financial applications and operational processes.

• Coordinate system testing before configuration changes are introduced into production environments.

• Work with software engineering teams to resolve application functionality and integration challenges.

• Maintain documentation covering system parameters, configuration changes, and operational procedures.

• Support the implementation of new financial technology modules and application enhancements.

• Review system access permissions and configuration settings in accordance with internal control requirements.

• Assist finance and operations teams with application-related technical support.

• Monitor system performance and identify recurring configuration issues.

• Participate in system upgrades, platform migrations, and application improvement projects.

• Ensure configuration changes are properly documented, tested, and approved.

• Recommend process improvements that reduce manual intervention and improve system efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least three years of experience in financial systems administration, application configuration, or fintech operations.

• Practical understanding of financial applications and enterprise software environments.

• Experience configuring business workflows, application parameters, and system functionalities.

• Understanding of financial transaction processes, payment operations, and accounting workflows.

• Familiarity with database concepts, SQL, and application troubleshooting.

• Experience preparing system documentation and configuration specifications.

• Knowledge of software testing and change management procedures.

• Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple configuration and implementation activities independently.

• Professional proficiency in English.
