Role Summary

The Remote Enterprise Architect will develop and maintain the organisation’s enterprise architecture framework, ensuring that business processes, information systems, applications, and infrastructure support strategic objectives. The role involves evaluating existing technology landscapes, defining future-state architectures, and guiding technology investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference models.
• Analyse business capabilities, processes, applications, data flows, and technology dependencies.
• Define target-state architecture and practical roadmaps for technology transformation.
• Assess proposed technology investments for strategic alignment, integration, and long-term value.
• Identify system duplication, legacy technology risks, and opportunities for simplification.
• Collaborate with business leaders, solution architects, security specialists, and engineering teams.
• Support technology governance, architecture reviews, and compliance with established standards.
• Communicate architectural recommendations, dependencies, and risks to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or complex IT transformation.
• Understanding of business capability modelling, application architecture, data architecture, and integration.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent methodologies.
• Experience developing architecture roadmaps and evaluating technology portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to balance strategic objectives with practical technical and operational constraints.
• Professional proficiency in English and experience collaborating across distributed teams.
