About the role

As an Engineering Managerfor the Bolt Plus team, you will lead a team of 7 engineers, collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for the delivery and growth of Bolt Plus, our membership product.

Your daily adventures will include:

• Leading and mentoring software engineers in the Bolt Plus team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Aligning with critical stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other dependent teams to plan and prioritize the team’s work.

• Taking ownership of the team’s architecture, including making sure it reflects the team’s needs and transforming the system to reduce friction.

• Ensuring delivery excellence by maintaining high standards for quality, performance, and reliability in engineering projects within Bolt Plus.

• Effective team leading, collaborating with different engineering teams, and giving proper feedback to your peers and direct reports.

• Managing team capacity, hiring, and performance evaluations.
