Position Overview

An opportunity is available for a technically skilled Engineer to support the development, maintenance, optimization, and modernization of automated industrial systems. The successful candidate will contribute to engineering projects involving production equipment, automated processes, industrial controls, machinery, and manufacturing technologies.

The role is suited to an engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and working across multiple disciplines. The successful candidate will collaborate with production specialists, maintenance teams, software professionals, equipment suppliers, and project managers to improve reliability, efficiency, safety, and overall production performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of industrial automation solutions.
• Analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Troubleshoot technical, mechanical, electrical, or automation-related issues.
• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial systems.
• Review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and technical contractors on equipment-related projects.
• Monitor production-system performance and investigate recurring technical failures.
• Develop recommendations for improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Participate in engineering upgrades and modernization projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and engineering records.
• Ensure engineering activities follow applicable safety and technical requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Previous industrial, manufacturing, automation, or engineering experience.
• Understanding of industrial control systems and automated production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with PLCs, industrial networks, robotics, or control technologies is advantageous.
• Strong communication and project-coordination skills.
• Professional English proficiency; Estonian language capability is beneficial.
