Role Summary

The Embedded Finance Product Specialist will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of embedded financial products and services. The role involves coordinating product requirements, evaluating integration opportunities, analysing user needs, and working with engineering teams to deliver financial capabilities within third-party platforms.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of fintech products, payment ecosystems, and digital financial services. They will contribute to product development initiatives that improve financial accessibility, platform integration, and overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of embedded finance products, including digital payments, account services, and financial integration solutions.

• Translate business requirements and customer needs into structured product specifications.

• Coordinate product development activities across engineering, design, compliance, and business operations teams.

• Evaluate opportunities to integrate financial services into external business platforms and digital ecosystems.

• Analyse customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve financial product accessibility and usability.

• Collaborate with technical teams to define API integration requirements and product functionality.

• Monitor product performance using operational data, customer feedback, and relevant performance indicators.

• Assist in defining product roadmaps, feature priorities, and implementation timelines.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate new product features before deployment.

• Review market developments and emerging embedded finance trends to identify potential product opportunities.

• Maintain product documentation, functional specifications, and internal implementation guidelines.

• Work with compliance specialists to ensure product features align with relevant financial services requirements.

• Identify product limitations and recommend improvements to strengthen functionality and operational efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in fintech product development, digital banking, embedded finance, or payment services.

• Good understanding of financial technology platforms and digital payment ecosystems.

• Familiarity with API integrations and technology-enabled financial products.

• Experience translating business requirements into product specifications.

• Knowledge of product development methodologies and agile working environments.

• Ability to analyse product performance metrics and customer feedback.

• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
