Position Overview

The Director will lead strategic initiatives focused on the evolution of digital financial services, banking platforms, and technology-enabled financial operations in Estonia and the wider European market. This position combines financial-services strategy with technology transformation, product innovation, customer experience, and operational modernization.

The successful candidate will evaluate emerging fintech models, develop scalable transformation strategies, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams responsible for implementing modern digital financial infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital-finance transformation strategies aligned with business growth and technology objectives.
• Lead initiatives involving digital banking platforms, mobile financial services, account infrastructure, and embedded finance.
• Evaluate emerging fintech technologies and identify opportunities for commercial adoption.
• Coordinate product, engineering, data, cybersecurity, compliance, operations, and business teams.
• Establish performance frameworks for digital financial products and services.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends, competitive developments, and evolving financial technology models.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for modernization of legacy financial processes and platforms.
• Support partnerships and integrations involving banks, payment providers, technology platforms, and fintech ecosystems.
• Establish governance structures for major digital transformation programs.
• Present strategic recommendations, investment cases, operational assessments, and transformation plans to senior stakeholders.
